![]() ![]() I don't think a barely one year old computer should need new parts. The tech says the next step is a new logic board at my expense since AppleCare has expired. Did the Etre Check and that found no issues. Restarted again and did diagnostics- no issues found. It lasted about 45 seconds and went black. ![]() Boot loop suddenly appeared in a weird split color screen, half white half pink with the apple in the center being half white and half red. Restarted, boot loop suddenly moved to the far right of the screen then went black. Disconnected power supply and waited a bit. Restarted and got stuck in a boot loop then it went black. For 4 days it worked beautifully, no sleep/wake issues, no boot loops. ![]() After a bit of resetting NVRam, restarting, etc it booted up normally. I called and spoke to the tech who said to disconnect the printer (and delete it) and disconnect the ethernet cable as well. It worked for 3 days and the problem resurfaced. Took it to the genius bar, then reinstalled Mojave and kept it for 4 days and couldn't get the issue to repeat. I would then shut it down, restart it and get stuck in eternal boot loop. After the Mojave upgrade, my iMac wouldn't wake from sleep at times. ![]()
